First Place at Fool Hollow Lake Sept. 23rd with 8.36 lbs.

Johnny Johnson wins at Fool Hollow Lake

Television host Johnny Johnson wins his 4th tournament of the year at Fool Hollow Lake sunday Sept. 23rd. Johnson and amateur Kenny Donaldson weighed in at 8.36 lbs, beating second place by almost 3 lbs. This win solidifies Johnson's bid for Angler of the Year, putting him nearly 30 points ahead of 2nd place (over-all) Bob Swanson, who has always put the "What if..." in johnson's plans. No need to fear now......Except......That itty-bitty Championship tournament thing on Oct. 13th & 14th. Now that Johnson has won the Angler of the Year award, you can bet that Swanson and a few others will be looking for redemption.

Johnny Johnson takes the Big Fish award with this large mouth weighing in at 3.24 lbs.

Stan Culling & Reese Simpson
Second place went to Stan Culling and Reese Simpson weighing in at 5.53 lbs. Stan has secured his place in the Championship tournament (Pro Division) as has Reese for the amateur division.

2nd Place
Third Place went to Doug Coplan & amateur Larry Kress. They brought in 4.79 lbs. of bass to the scales. Doug will be in the Championship tournament, placing 3rd over-all.

Fishing was pretty good in the morning but tapered off about 9 am.
