Never Say Never....
After a poor start in the first tournament of the year at Rainbow Lake, television host Johnny Johnson has made a huge comeback at Willow Springs Lake on May 29th 2005, bringing in 14 lbs. of bass to leap from 5th place to just a couple of points within 1st place in the race for Angler of the Year. Johnny has taken the award four years in a row and looks to be battling once again with 3rd place Doug Coplan, who has been coming on strong the last couple of years, giving Johnny a run for his money. He also can't count out Pro Guy Hartman who has been steadily improving and has finished in 2nd place for the second time in a row this year, landing him in 1st place in the points race, and keeping everybody a bit humbled.
It's going to be another exciting year!
