July 2005

Special Note:

The White Mountain Bass Club is changing it's format from the Pro/Am format to a Team format beginning with the July 24th tournament at Willow Springs Lake. The cuurnet tournament schedule will remain the same.

Guy Hartman Comes on Strong.

Guy Hartman (Left) 1st Place

After two 2nd place finishes in a row, Pro Guy Hartman (left), gets his 1st win of the season at Rainbow Lake on June 26th and keeping him in 1st Place over-all. Guy and amatuer partner Walt Coplan, who is in 1st place for the amatuer division, managed to bring in 3 fish at 5.92 pounds.

Kenny Donaldson (right) 2nd Pl.

Kenny Donaldson (right) and amateur partner David Campbell (not pictured) 2nd Place (4.96 lbs.).

Don Kleifgen (Left) 3rd Pl.

Don Kleifgen and partner Reese Simpson 3rd Place (4.61 lbs.).

Special Note about the change in format:

The Club has been around for over 18 years now and 14 of them where team tournaments. We changed the format in 2000 because of not enough entries at the time. In fact our last team tournament had 3 boats in it. But after the new comer team tournament this season, and by popular demand we are now going back to the team format for the next tournament. The talk is for us that have stuck it out in the pro/am events, we will be able to take our points, or our partners points, (whoever is higher) and bring them to the team tournaments, to still try to make the top 5 championship tournament.
