First Team Tournament Goes Well
For Team Coplan
The first tournament after the change from the Pro/Am format went to Doug and Walt Coplan who weighed in at 7.65 pounds to take 1st place at Fool Hollow Lake, July 24th, 2005. Teams were formed after a decision to go to a team format by bass club members after the last tournament at Willow Springs Lake. The team then took the highest score from between the two to continue the points race. Both Doug and Walt had High scores to begin with and are now currently sitting in 1st place overall.
Second place goes to father and son team Guy and Dean Hartman weighing in 5 fish at 5.56 pounds. Guy was sitting in 1st place before the change in format and continues to do well, keeping a close 2nd place overall to 1st place Doug and Walt Coplan.
Johnny Johnson and partner Reese Simpson 3rd Place with 5 fish and a total of 4.82 pounds.
