Family Tournament June 25th 2006
Johnson Duo Sweeps The Series.
A happily soaked Johnny Johnson along with his Dad Johnny Sr., who came out of retirement of tournament fishing, won the final family tournament held on Willow Springs Lake June 25th with a 4 bass total of 10.78 pounds. They also had big fish at 4.60 pounds. This makes 3 tournaments in a row for the pair, sweeping the series to take the Team of the Year award for the Family tournaments.
Congratulations Johnny & John!
2nd Place went to Doug and Mercedes Coplan with a 5 bass limit weighing in at 8.26 pounds. They also had the 2nd big fish of 3.88 pounds.
3rd went to Reese & Cody Simpson who managed to catch a limit in all three tournaments with a total of 4.84 lbs.
Big Fish: Johnny Johnson 4.60 lbs.
