The First Time Is Always The Sweetest!
Russell and Calvin Williams reeled in their first win ever since joining the WMBC a couple of years ago, weighing in 3 bass at 5.94 lbs. on Fool Hollow Lake July 9th, and also putting a little extra winnings in the pocket of Calvin for the Big Fish of the day weighing in at 4.81 lbs. Fool Hollow can be a temperamental little lake, and with the tourist season in high gear, fishing was as tough as it has ever been with most fish being caught in the 10"-12" range and only one limit being brought in.
Congrats to Russell and Calvin on their first win!
One of the most consistent teams in the WMBC, Guy Hartman and his son Dean, bring in 4 bass for 5.42 lbs. for a 2nd place finish.
3rd place comes in with the only limit of the day, 5 fish weighing in at 4.47 lbs., by Johnny Johnson and Reese Simpson, whom have placed in the money every tournament thus far, keeping the pair in 1st place overall.
