RUSSELL & CALVIN WILLIAMS DO IT AGAIN

Russel and Calvin Williams 1st place

A big weekend for the team of Russell and Calvin Williams who managed to win the last team tournament at Fool Hollow Lake August 27th 2006. This is the only team besides Johnny and Reese to win more than one team tournament this year, and the only team to beat Johnny and Reese twice this year. Congrats!

They managed a limit of bass at 9.27 pounds, including the big fish, a 4.30 pound lunker.


Johnny Johnson and Reese Simpson 2nd Place and Team of the Year

2nd Place went to Johnny Johnson and Reese Simpson. with a limit at 8.82 lbs.

This secures Johnny and Reese for Team of the Year. Good job guys!


Doug and Walt Coplan 3rd place.

3rd Place went to Doug and Walt Coplan with 5 bass at 8.59 pounds.

Championship Tournament August 13th 2006

Doug and Mercedes Coplan 1st

Two Tough Days.

Day 1

Day one proved to be a little tough for all the teams, but Kenny Donaldson along with his Dad managed to catch a 6 lbs. sack of bass with the big fish a 5.29 pound largemouth. Doug and Mercedes Coplan ended up with 4.14 pounds and Johnny Johnson Jr. and Sr. rounded out 3rd with 3.51 pounds. Most fish were caught on Spinnerbaits.

Day 2

Day two was a little better on some of the teams as Doug and Mercedes Coplan managed a limit of bass weighing 7.55 pounds to Win the 2 day tournament. Johnny Johnson Jr. and Sr. took 2nd the second day at Fool Hollow with 3 bass at 4.86 pounds. This earned them 3rd place over all. Johnny Caught the second day big fish a 2.65 pounder. Kenny and Corky Donaldson managed to catch 4 fish but it wasnt enough to stay on top as the weight was only 3.84 pounds. Enough to take second place over all though. All in all a hard but mostly fun tournament for all.
